About the Author
David Unger naci� en la ciudad de Guatemala en 1950. Es autor de las novelas Vivir en el maldito tr�pico, Para m� eres divina, Ni chicha ni limonada, El precio de la fuga y el libro infantil La Casita. Sus cuentos han aparecido en varias antolog�as y revistas literarias en los Estados Unidos y en el extranjero. Ha traducido al ingl�s la obra de reconocidos autores, entre ellos, Teresa C�rdenas, Rigoberta Mench�, Ana Mar�a Machado, Silvia Molina, Elena Garro, B�rbara Jacobs y Nicanor Parra. En 2014 le fue otorgado el Premio Nacional de Literatura “Miguel �ngel Asturias” de Guatemala por su trayectoria literaria. Es tambi�n profesor de Traducci�n en el City College de Nueva York y el representante de Estados Unidos en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara. Actualmente, vive en Brooklyn.

Hay tanto que decir sobre la nueva novela del escritor David Unger que es imposible detallarlo todo. Es una novela que te atrapa desde sus primeras p�ginas. Tuve el privilegio de presentarlo en Miami y les comparto la rese�a de mi p�gina. donde est� el audio de la presentaci�n y pueden escuchar al mismo autor conversando los detalles de c�mo decidi� escribir la novela basada en el caso Rosenberg y todo lo ocurrido desde su publicaci�n. Pronto saldr� en ingl�s con el t�tulo The Mastermind y le auguro un �xito rotundo.

Una obra maestra

Exceptional! a master piece, it keeps you on the edge page by page, I read it in less than a week; very interesting not only for those aware of the violence and corruption in Guatemala but for those looking for a challenging book, the author plays your mind very well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes justice, action and mind blowing twists.
I have been in Guatemala and I could picture myself in those streets looking every scene from the book, I read it in Spanish and I look forward to the English edition in April!

Una novela narrada con voz fuerte. Un narrador omnisciente que conoce a fondo el pa�s de Guatemala y en particular su capital, la ciudad de Guatemala, y que tambi�n conoce a fondo los personajes que llevan a cabo la acci�n.
Yo he dividido la novela en dos partes: la primera en la que vemos el desarrollo de la personalidad de Guillermo y sus consecuencias, y una segunda de suspense en la que la intriga pol�tica y la corrupci�n es lo preponderante.
Es una novela entretenida, que posee un toque de realismo m�gico y que, no obstante, pinta una realidad cruda y sofocante.
