Great resource for learning to draw tonal values.

If you've asked the question, "how do you make up values from imagination?", this book can help you. It's a little verbose sometimes, but definitely worth wading through a few extra words to get the knowledge. The principles of light, shade and shadow are laid out and explained in detail, and there are exercises to follow along with in the back. It's a small book, not even 70 pages, but it packs a lot of information. Very helpful book for anyone wishing to learn more about drawing/painting lights, shades and shadows.

The book is a very helpful compilation of excerps from Alice Bailey's (Tibetan's)writings about the animal kingdom. Because of its strong focus this book helps focus ideas into feelings about the placement of the animal kingdom in the evolutionary process and humanity's relationship to the animal kingdom in this process. The more we understand the hidden spiritual processes taking place around and within us the more we can play a conscious part and speed to fruition the Divine Plan for the Earth.

This is a compilation of other Alice A. Bailey's writings. It is organized but approaches the subject from multiple writings so takes awhile to build the picture of the place of the Animal Kingdoms in the evolution of consciousness as perceived by the Ageless Wisdom teachings.

This book & others of Alice A. Bailey were recommended to me in another book I was reading for deeper soul work. Wow! Very deep & fascinating. It is not a big book but takes awhile to read due to the depth. Amazing.
